About Karen Hendrickson
Dynamic, hard-working, adventurous and fun loving are just a few of the adjectives that can be used to describe Karen, who hails from Bermuda. This “woman of the heart” co-authored the book "Ghana's Beautiful Gardens", in which she combines two of her prevalent passions- gardening and photography- in her first publishing venture.
"Ghana's Beautiful Gardens" showcases the lush, exquisite and tenderly cared-for gardens that exist in many Ghanaian homes. Her desire to create a book that would excite and soothe the eyes and spirit, as one drifts away in a sea of tranquility and peace, has finally been fulfilled.
Karen's enthusiasm for cultivating Orchids is contagious because she's eager to share her knowledge of this wonderful flower species with anyone who is interested. Her interaction with fellow orchid enthusiasts and her willingness to share all the tips and tricks that she has learned over the 14 years of growing spectacular orchids in Ghana is something that she loves. Rest assured that her orchid- themed workshops are dynamic, interactive and inspirational.
