One of the most important things we can do for our children (and ourselves) is to get them into the garden.  Outdoor gardening experiences positively impact their minds- not just in the moment, but for a lifetime!  

It has also been observed that children are more interested in eating fresh veggies and fruits when they know how they are grown and when they harvest them themselves.  

In our Children's Organic Gardening Workshops, each child learns about growing plants and gardening; they learn why it is important to grow organically; they also learn how to work in the garden, dig in the dirt, plant seedlings, water and nurture plants.  There will even be surprise takeaways for all! 

Invest in your child's future by helping them develop an endless love for plants and nature now.


The Farmacy's Children's Organic Gardening Workshop will be held in the gardens at the Afia Beach Hotel's Children's Garden in Accra.  Since August, 2016, the children have planted many seeds that have germinated in this special garden: garlic, tomatoes, basil, green onion, basil, pineapple, sweet pepper, aubergine and more.  What a JOY!

Welcome to the FAT & Flourishing Farmacy.  Our main laboratories are our gardens and farms!  Unlike a typical pharmacy, our Farmacy specialises in Garden-fresh, Organic "Prescriptions" for prevention, instead of cure; a Farmacy is great place to go to avoid getting sick!

·Insects: Neem oil kills or repels many harmful insects and mites, including aphids, whiteflies, snails, nematodes, mealybugs, cabbage worms, gnats, moths, cockroaches, flies, termites, mosquitoes, and scale. 
It kills some bugs outright, attacks the larvae of others, and repels plant eaters with its bitter taste.
